“Plan for the Advancement of Latin America” was a speech given in Buenos Aires, Aregentina, in 1959, by Cuban Prime Minister Fidel Castro. The plan began with an outline of the literacy and life expectancy differences between Latin American countries and North American countries. It was then followed by a plan to unify the Latin American countries in their battle against Northern Hemisphere colonialism.
